Brody Armstrong

I am a hardworking driven individual, focusing on working in the film and television industry. My interests are creating engaging and professional video edits and writing. Throughout my studies at RMIT, I have been trained in a whole range of screen production skills, in managerial and practical work. I am an associate member with the ASE, as well as a member of RMITV, that have had productions air on channel 31.

I am currently focused on, collaborating and assisting any production with editing, as I have knowledge and expertise on professional editing practices for short films. I focus my attention towards the details of edit ensuring there are no mistakes and the story is enhanced by the edit.

'Busking Safely in the City'

This was a joint production between RMIT film students and the City of Melbourne to create a training video for buskers in Melbourne I had the responsibilities as an 1st assistant director and one of the editors for the project

In this joint production between SYN Media and RMITV, my role was an assistant editor for the TV show, combining studio footage and other footage together in a television format.

Last Chance

In this RMITV short film production, I worked as an Art Department Assistant, as well as a production assistant. My duties were to assist the sound recordist, as well as to assist the art department in setting up and packing down.

In this short proof of concept film. I was tasked as a gaffer working closely with the cinematographer 'Ben Bellette' to set up the lighting and camera equipment.

In this RMITV short choose your own adventure web-series. I worked as First Assistant Camera, where I slated and communicated with the Camera Operator and the First AD, to make sure we got all the shots we needed.
